Excellent!!!

Mine should have been in the air two weeks ago but work and bad weather keep that from happening.

Bob,

I'm just getting ready to fly mine for the first time this weekend and hopefully all will be fine. I'll try the hemostat plier thing.

Thanks

rdavit,

What are you doing for transport??? Are you keeping the whole wing together or do you remove the wing tips??? My concern is the linkage for the outboard flaps that hide under the wing...

Gear Doors...

Sorry... I haven't gotten this far yet.

Running all of the servo wires from the booms through wing to the main fuse is a real B***H!!! Need to make sure I don't get the wires caught on the flap...

I agree... it does look like Glacier Girl. If it is, it's nice to see it making the rounds.

Great Planes PattyW Extra or WM Extra 300

I love my World Models Extra 300! It's a fantastic plane the flies great and looks impressive. It's my first gasser (Zenoah G45) and also my first 'BIG' plane. It flies like it's on rails.

Looks like the flaps are really needed on this bird. I'll make sure I'm using them for my landings.

Bubba,

Great event you guys had down there! I'll go down there with a plane next year and hopefully the crosswind gods aren't angry like they seemed on Saturday :)

If it weren't for my D@MN job, my plane would be flying by now.

Oh well... gotta pay the bills somehow.

Has this happened to you?

I've gone to my flying field which is 50 minutes away a few times without the horizontal stab. Oops. I spent 15 minutes putting my plane together once before noticing that. :(
