O.S. .90 tuning.. only one needle?

While tring to run my 54" dumas w/O.S. 90 it would always die if I gave it over 1/4 throttle. It would rev up like it was running out of gas...The exhaust pressure hose is hooked up ... I screwwed...

well I got the failsafe and built a trailer for it and my LST pulls it nicely. But Walmart doesn't sell swim noodles in the middle of winter (for floation)...........so i'm koooooking for some...
