Any of the 30%series will have excelent flight characteristics. I had the yak54 and it was very good for 3d .

Sorry Vince, but i do not remenber the CG location.

What i always do is fly the model and adjust the CG by moving the RX pack, i look how the model come in for landing, if i must apply much up...

I prefer the extra 260 because it has a bigger wing area, float much better, and the wing is positioned in the midle of the fuse, not the lower position as the 330L.

I was geting 9500 rpm with the apc 16x6 prop using wildcat 20x20 fuel.

What is the top RPM you get on the saito 120?

I think you will be fine with the saito 120, if you feel you need more thrust, you can use the apc 16x4w, other thing good is that the saito you can always put more nitro, and get more power.

I think you can ask peakmodel for the replacement part, the one time i needed one edge 25% cowl, they ordered the part from the manufacter.

3800-4000 grams / 8,4- 8,8 lbs - i think is good for the saito 120.

No negative points with this plane, it is super, no coupling on K.E..

Try the 16x6, and the 16x4w prop, one of these will be perfect.

I think the saito 120 would be very good match, using a ACP 16x6 prop it should provide unlimited performance.

I do not have the extra anymore (sold to felow) , but looking the pictures and my memory i do not think i had problem fiting the cowl.

But this chinese planes are not 100% exact all times.

My extra 330L 25% from peakmodel came with the round 2-piece landing gear, is is not heavy.

I agree the SPE40 would be to much power and weight in this light 25% airframes.

It is the ys110 FZ-S, new version, provides excelente power, but the glow mess is the downside...

The peaK 26CC has good 3d power here in brazil, the altitude in our field is 1200 feet, the best propeler is the APC 17x6 or APC 17x8 plastic propeler, RPM reading were 8400 17x6 and 7900 17x8 prop....

The edge is good, but the extra 260 is another world comparing to the edge.

It is lighter and better designed plane, the os160 fx would be rocket power in the extra.

Go with the saito 150, the airplane is very very light, i recomend using a apc 16x6 or 17x6 prop in this airplane and saito 150 engine combo, it will have unlimited vertical performance, no doubt...

Yes, removing the canopy i could prime the engine for the first flight of the day, than i had no need to prime the engine, it always started in the first flip.

I did not weight the plane, but have flow it 20 fligths, and the wing loading is perfect with the peak 26 engine, total weight i estimate to be 8.8 lbs, the extra 260 is lighter than the edge 26cc,...

The hardware is good, i used all the hardware, only the fuel tank i went with a smaller 10oz tank.

You will love the 260, realy a beaty, flies like a dream.
