i dont bake the foam anymore .. living conditions prevent me from doing so .. i use the Carbonfiber ribbon in the wing .. and ribs if needed ..

the adhesive is a special tape me and a friend...

Its not to bad as far as difficulty .. less time than a balsa model and quite a bit tougher .. and alot cheaper than one of the Alfa or flying styro planes ..

the polyurethane does foam up...

The fuselage has been probonded..(Water mixed with probond glue )
i run a bead of the glue inside the fuselage along all joints.. i also added a small former at the turtle deck to hold its shape .....

you can bend in the foil and add 2 ribs per wing half and it will be fine .. when i cant bake a wing i add ribs with no penalty ..

Bluecor P-47

just finished up my Bluecor P-47 .. 32 inch wingspan .. Razor 350 in a GWS gearbox with a C gearing and a 9X7 prop ..
ran it up and down the street during a break in the sleet and freezing rain...

Omaha .. just bend the foam .. i get a slight curve in the foam by running it across the round udge of my counter .. then lots of tape and a little foam safe CA .. then probond polyurethane glue...

Been building with Fanfold for close to 4 years and worked with depron also .. and after 2 planes from depron i went with fanfold..
fanfold is stronger than depron in my experience and easier to...
