Bet you got an air leak in or around the tank. It should charge to about 4 psi while running and hold that for a few minutes after shutdown

I have the same P47( Yellow Aircraft) fibreglass fuse and Im flying with a YS120 and it hauls ass!! Your 110 will be plenty of power also and just think , you wont need any nose weight.

Turn the engine backwards several compression strokes to be sure there is no fuel in combustion chamber(by hand) Then turn backwards until you feel compression , then apply starter. Should start...
