The plane is built well. Yes I test fitted the cowling and it fits very well into the cowling. No problems
I would suggest this engine for this plane based on the fit.

Here is the DA 120. As previously stated by Ray Labonte. The engine has about 5/8ths of an inch clearance in the cowl. We will have to see how the mounting goes though, I do not have the plane...

For the scale of the cockpit here is a magazine and a dollar bill. This is larger than what I had suspected. Much larger than the cockpit for my Comp ARF P51.
