RE: Micron FP anyone have an opinion?

Thanks for the links cwrr5.
Looks like double stick tape to attach the two servos together and then hot glue for attaching the servos assembly to the frame is the recommended method. The...

RE: Micron FP anyone have an opinion?

I'm not too crazy on how the servos have to mount.
They have to be mounted one on top of the other and mounted to the frame on the point where the tail boom slides into the main frame. There is...

RE: Micron FP anyone have an opinion?

Yeah, I'm at about the same level of experience as you guys and consider myself a high noob or beginner. :)

I haven't had any time to spend on my RC hobby or on this build yet but I did do some...

RE: Micron FP anyone have an opinion?

The Micron is a very nice kit but keep in mind it is not a beginner heli.
If you have never flown a single rotor rc heli before buying this kit as your first one may frustrate you out of the heli...

RE: Walkera #10 outer shaft

I was wondering if the Walkera #53 metal outer shaft would fit the #10. Thanks! I will be ordering this for my #10 too.

RE: Walkera 53 super lama

I have both the Esky Lama 2 and the Walkera #10. The Lama 2 is more stable and does fly better but I also like the Walkera #10 because it is bigger and handles a light wind better. If you had to...

RE: Walkera 53 super lama

As far as I know it is a Walkera #10 with some upgraded parts such as different blades, metal outer drive shaft instead of carbon fiber, new frame with better cooling for motors, different battery...

RE: Micron FP anyone have an opinion?

alaskazoo;
Thanks for the tip.
Yes a very small paper clip may work instead of music wire.
But let me tell you, it is very thin music wire!
I thought they packaged two straight hairs in the...

RE: Micron FP anyone have an opinion?

I just bought the Micron FP Complete ARF kit w/o the TX.
The parts look very well made and of very good quality.
One thing for sure you will need a magnifying glass and good lighting to assemble...

RE: HBCP2 CG?

The heli should balance with COG right inline with the main shaft. Use your battery position in the battery holder to get it close to center.
An airplane radio will not work with the HB CP2. You...

RE: Blade CX Problem

These definitely sound like battery issues. I would check battery voltage before and after a charge and a flight. Should be around 8.4 volts fully charged and no less than 6.4 when discharged. Just...

RE: E-SKY LAMA 2 THREAD

A few people have replaced their Lama 2 "4in1" with the one for the Blade BCX and have had less yaw drift problems. Only change I think is need to swap one of the motor wirings and swap rx crystal.

RE: E-SKY LAMA 2 THREAD

Many people have minimizzed their yaw drift on their BCX by cutting openings in the canopy so the "4in1" controller gets more air flow to keep it cool. I wonder if this would help in the Lama 2. The...

RE: E-SKY LAMA 2 THREAD

The general consensus seems to be that the yaw drift is due to heat problems with the controller. Also piezo gyros will tend to drift. My BCX does hold the drift better than my Lama 2. I may replace...

RE: E-SKY LAMA 2 THREAD

Yes, the pot is a proportional motor adjustment to control yaw. Make sure to power the "4in1" controller off, if it isn't off already, and than on again in order for it to see the pot adjustment.

That's great. sounds very promising for an onboard wireless camera. I have one for my E-Sky Honey Bee CP2 that I am only just hovering, that I would like to try in my E-Sky Lama2 or Blade CX.
For...
