RE: 30 year old Radio Shack 4X4

Your best bet is to hop over here: http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/forumid_498/tt.htm

Thats the area most of the Toy Grade trucks get their upgrade questions answered. There are always options...

RE: In a pickle

Just explain to her as I did with my wife....of all the hobbies to have, this can be relatively cheap. Can be. If you want. Buy a buggy for a couple hundred and you are done. You already have the...

RE: TA-02 F150 body

Yeah, I know. Even though I am "restoring" it, for some reason I really just don't want to go with another original body.

TA-02 F150 body

I am restoring an original Tamiya F150 and one of the main things it needs is a body. I can obviously just get a new stock F-150 body that came with the truck, but I am kind of looking at other...

RE: Large Scale RC backyard chainsaw buggy

Weldments....grrrrrr.

Looks good so far. Have you used 3divia a lot? Just curious as it's something I was considering working with as well.

RE: VXL-3S LVC

It should be fine as far as "it will work". The issue is, 6.6 is pretty underpowered. That's the only problem with LiFe packs, the configurations they come in don't easily match up to existing...

RE: VXL-3S LVC

If I remember correctly i believe the vxl cutoff hovers right around 3.2v. I know lipo should never drop below 3.0 so that would make sense.

RE: RC4WD Tracks

Still doing what I can to get mine designed and working. I am hoping to get a set that is lighter, ie. more plastic, and cheaper. Shooting for the 150-180 range for full set of 4. Keep in mind full...

RE: MaddTraxx R/C Winter Traxx

Here is a picture showing the test tracks we have molded. We did one of these without reinforced belting, and one with. The difference is amazing. We will certainly be using the belted method as this...

RE: MaddTraxx R/C Winter Traxx

Getting there. Had some setbacks that are moving the time-table a bit. We are now making 1 piece, belted rubber tracks. Because of this, some modifications have to be made to the overall design. It's...

RE: Two-speed Auto tranny for electric Motors?

Unless this is some sort of revolutionary new CVT, then I'd say no. CVT's need a belt or chain that basically rides between two pulleys....pretty sure if there was a way to do it inline like this, it...

RE: 1/6 Dodge Ram Build

Thats very pretty! Crazy thing is, I just purchased a 1/6 F-150 that I am going to convert to a hobby grade scaler just like this. Love the frame, good work man.

RE: rustler hexes?

Correct, it does not really matter, but if you dont have any already, might as well get the black ones....I think....pretty sure those are the ones that come on the stampede.

RE: Lipo choice for 2wd stock slash

I bought 3 of the turnigy 5000s a while back, no question I will not be buying any of the "namebrand" ones any more. Did you check HobbyPartz? They are located in the US and shipping is much faster.

Hows mine going? Well, no where. It kinda fell to the side for now. Been really busy with some product development for 10th scale. Just to get the funds together to buy the a few parts I'm not...

RE: Best sub $200 WATERPROOF Buggys/truggys besides Traxxas?

Yeah, I dont really know about that whole dipped bearing thing....but.....people should know something fundamental about most, if not all RC bearings, or bearings in general. Unless they are low...

I have had an RC18MT for a long time now, but it's really just been collecting dust on the shelf. It's 100% stock, and I want to do something with it. Not just upgrade stuff, but "project"...

RE: new leopard brushless

Seems to be some debate over this, but wouldnt it be better to get the 1/2 turned labeled ones instead, (8.5, 13.5 etc.) as these are the full size motors, and the even numbered ones are 380's in a...
