RE: G-62 sags rich when inverted

I never did get my G-62 to quit running rich while inverted until I a buddy drilled his G-62 into the dirt. I stole his carb just to try and see if it would make a difference. With his carb I have a...

RE: KMP/eBay YAK-54 Build and Fly

I have close to a hundred flights on my KMP Yak and had to re glue a few places on the fuse the other day other than that it's been a pretty tough bird. It's been through a bunch of hard tail touches...

RE: Zenoah G62 Power

My old (stock)B&B G-62 does a pretty good job turning a Menz 24/8 at 6800 and hovers a 18lbs 8oz YAK right at half throttle with very good pull out. Of course it's real broken in with hundreds of...

RE: G-62 Won't Run Right--Whats Wrong w/This Picture?

That sounds like something I would do.

I've got one for you that I can't seem to fix. My G-62 sags rich at or below half throttle when rolled inverted. I've rebuilt the carb, ran the diafram...

RE: G-62 Won't Run Right--Whats Wrong w/This Picture?

I have a 15yr old G-62 but it doesn't have eletronic ignition.
If I remember right the ignition fires when the magnet breaks out of the pickup, so it just looked like it was upside down. Of...

RE: KMP/eBay YAK-54 Build and Fly

Bosshossv8, my old B&B G-62 still has the spring starter, cup mount and B&B muffler. I know it's a little heavy but very reliable
I'm getting 6700 out a menz 24/8 and will hover easily just under...

RE: KMP/eBay YAK-54 Build and Fly

I've got about 10 flights on my KMP Yak, having a blast throwing it around. I had an old G-62 and some old Hitec 645s laying around and even at 18lbs 10ozs it's a great 3D machine. I just upgraded...

RE: resistor in plug cap

Don't know the reason but when I took the resisters out of the caps on my BME 110 I couldn't get more than 20' away without the servo's going nuts.

RE: What is the best engine in the 100cc market?

I like the idea of saving 2lbs. With the BME my Planes Plus 34% Extra wieghs 23lbs 12ozs.
And my BME 110 is turning a Mejlyk 28-10 @ 6500. Leaned to peak is around 6800. A friends 110 would only...

RE: Stay tuned, Extreme Aircraft Extra 300 on the way

RE: Planes Plus Extra 34%

I used a little teflon tape on my wing screws and no problems after about 50 flights. I have a BME 110 in mine and it balances on the wing tube with two 2400 lions and regs just under the wing tube...

RE: Planes Plus Extra 34%

You've got to be talking about the EA version. I have them both and the PP has a much better scheme.

RE: Stay tuned, Extreme Aircraft Extra 300 on the way

Upright for high wing, inverted for low wing and it doesn't matter for mid wing.

RE: Godfrey Laser CG

Mine is at the center of the wing tube and need just a hint of down elevator on a 45 deg up line. These are great flying planes.

There is no such thing as overkill when your talking POWER, just when your talking weight.
