RE: Photos of Privateer super 15 build

Good news! I have found and bought one that is complete in excellent condition and appears to have never been removed from the box!

Plan on using it as a reference and templates to restore my...

RE: Photos of Privateer super 15 build

The Super "15" was supposed to be built with ailerons, it's not really a mod. Whoever built the one I have just didn't bother to do them. Ailerons are going to be a help leveling out the plane for...

RE: Photos of Privateer super 15 build

I was just given an old one a couple of days ago, missing the aluminum cowl and one float. Any chance of getting a copy of your plans, mine was built without the ailerons and I would like to add...

RE: Inverted engine suggestions

I know I'm getting a few responses related to starting issues with inverted engines but that hasn't been my problem. They've started fine but sometimes they just flat out quit while I'm flying. I...

RE: Inverted engine suggestions

I thought 4-strokes were more prone to problems inverted than 2-strokes?

Inverted engine suggestions

I'm wanting to run a .60 size engine in an inverted application. Anyone have any recommendations/preferences on which ones have the best reliability (non-flameout, etc) when ran inverted?

RE: New Hanger 9 p-51 mustang **Trainer?!?**

Flew my PTS for the firstime yesterday, fairly well behaved and slow but distinctly different from a high wing trainer. Needed nearly full throttle with flaps up, about half throttle with flaps down...

I'm in the midst of building up one of Polk's Hobbies Dorothy II ARF trainers. Anyone else out there have one of these?

RE: The Badius Owners Club

That's nice, been wondering about those. Now if someone would just make an A-10 in EPP instead of styrofoam so that it doesn't bust up at the slightest mishap I would be tickled to death.

Try one of the Ultrafly Falcon 400 brushed motors, it will take 3s and 12v.

RE: The Badius Owners Club

Loubud,

I'm putting a Speed Gems Chromium with a MP Jet 3:1 planetary gearbox in the Omei. I've got a MP Jet Turbo spinner with Graupner Scimitar 11-7.5 blades. Not even going to bother with...

RE: The Badius Owners Club

RayRay,

I've done most of the beef up mods from the Omei thread, fiberglassed the inside of the fuselage (which is straight and does have an aligned rudder), reinforced the wing tab at the...

RE: The Badius Owners Club
