RE: Great Planes Combat Corsair and Mustang

I electrified my P51. I have no use for the stock mounts. I don't remember which ones they are in my pile of crap. Do they look like these? You can have them if they are the ones.

RE: Great Planes Combat Corsair and Mustang

Wow. Dave,
That was the closest launch save I have seen. The force that keeps things flying has loaned you one credit.
Good job!

RE: Great Planes Combat Corsair and Mustang

They did that in real life too. There were P 80 pilots in korea with WW2 kills on thier planes. It goes with the pilot not the plane... I think

RE: Great Planes Combat Corsair and Mustang

I made the motor myself, it has a 2P3S 3000 Max-amps, CC45, and two 3 blade 9x7 master airscrew props. I have a bunch of time invested in this thing and I want to get as close a possible to the right...

RE: Great Planes Combat Corsair and Mustang

I have a GP P51 converted to electric. It is finished but I haven't flown it yet. It is just shy of 2 pounds AUW. The plane will fly out of my hands straight up so I know the power to weight ratio...

RE: What do you use YOUR broken props for?

I use the end with the hub as a prop nut wrench
I use any blade end to slide between the hooks and the fuzz on velcro to get out batterys and receivers.

RE: HITEC FLASH 5X RADIO SYSTEM..

I have a Hitec flash5x I have used it without a problem for 2 years. My brother's similarly priced Futaba bought on the same day has been back to Futaba 2 times. He is still happy with it? Go figure....

RE: Contra-rotating electic

I don't know if there is any practical reason to do this with a model aircraft. The issues of efficiency can be debated forever. A steeper pitched rear prop seems to be part of the formula to take...

I don't know if "the other forum" is a bad word. Please excuse me if I step into the Hot zone. I have found great things and great folks here and there. The motor I made is about 2 months old. The...
