RE: revo customiz

I switch to aluminum parts because I like the look and I normally make them myself. But in the long run, aluminum is a waste. Some parts are designed to break. I'd much rather lose a 3 dollar part...

RE: Turbine Truck!!!

The price on that is £1,445.96

Past that, I don't know anything else. I got about halfway through a turbine I was going to put on a plane, and then I found out the AMA rules boil down to "Don't...

RE: Nitro 2 stroke V-8

You don't have to have a foundry. With enough skill, it could be made out of barstock. If somebody was willing, a suitable foundry could be built in your backyard that be enough to work for the R/C...

RE: Roto start system for rc10gt rtr

I had to get the S680 for my +RTR. I don't know if they use the same engine, so actual results may very.

RE: New Monster GT first impressions.

I spent a hour or so bouncing mine off of a telephone pole that was laying on its. side I managed to break an A-Arm. I haven't driven it in a while because of work and I need to make a longer...

RE: TNX owners, what have you broken?

I've had nothing but problems with the electric starter. After changing that for a drill start, almost all the problems went away(it dies if I mash the gas too hard. But that isn't a TNX issue). So...

RE: fiberglass bodies

The only advantage I see would be something unique or something with a lot of compound curves that would lock down a vacuform body.

RE: roto start for a rc10gt?

You unscrew the pull start and then duck as the spring comes unbound...

RE: ther****rming lexan for body mods

It took a couple of minutes to get it all nice and droopy. But I wasn't using lexan. I did a few pulls with another type of plastic I had laying around just to play with it.

RE: ther****rming lexan for body mods

They work OK. Not as good as I hoped, but they are a hell of a lot easier to change then nichrome. However, all I got was two little 600 Watt shop lights from Lowes. It would probably work better if...

RE: How many of you actually do this.....?

I always tell people I'm 18 with several years of experience.

I don't take my toys out to break them, but I do take them out to have fun and do things I wouldn't do in a real vehicle. If I...

Will the Pro package be available as an...
