Oh, I was cut alright, and a pretty badly split fingernail also!! Probably should have gotten a couple of stitches, but just wrapped it and went on.

I'd flown nearly a tank of fuel through my trainer when I landed and taxied over to the staging area. My throttle needed some adjustment because it wouldn't kill the engine even when trimmed...

Accidents can happen, but I wouldn't let my local conservation agent catch me "harassing" any kind of birds or any wildlife for that matter. They seriously frown on such behavior !!
