RE: why get a failsafe?

RE: blancers important for lipos?

It discharges the higher voltage cell until it equals the lower voltage cell as the pack is charging. After running your pack I'd balance the cells first and then leave it on while charging the pack....

RE: ProTek Lipos??

So could you compare them to any of the ni-mh or other lipo packs you've run? Then again, it may be hard to compare since you're running a new car/brushless setup unless of course you've tried some...

RE: why get a failsafe?

Definately not, never turn off your radio before turning off the rx. Basher, racer, no difference, interference is everywhere not just at a track. Interference, whether it's another rc radio, metal...

RE: Track Question

Wood is a good idea, maybe top it off with some thin, outdoor, boat type carpet if you know what I mean. You'll always have traction and that way you don't have to constantly rebuild the ramp too....

RE: Does HimotoRacing Suck?

I'm with you here no doubt. I'd do the same, you should stand up for your product and more importantly yourself. I've had r/c products shipped to me in non working condition including Traxxas and...

RE: Losi or Associated? Truck or Buggy??????

I had a Losi and now run Associated cars for several reasons. My experience with Losi included lots of frustrating race days trying to get the diff to hold through the day, replacing endless amounts...
