If you are just going to be bashing, and not racing you could get the .18 and run it just a touch fat and it should last you a good long time and still be stronger or as stong as a " decent" .12

Yeah MT's are great motors.... It will easily beat the RTR car..... Plus being a .12 it is race legal...So if you plan to race, you already have a motor thats legal..... (.15's are not legal,...

You have to be careful with carbon fiber though... Great conductor if elect..... watch for glitches..... and I would def. stay with some kind of alloy/metal main chassis.... and titanium...

if it is up to 200 in a minute that seems like a bit much.... My motor runs at about 130-160 at idle.... I would richen them both like a 1/8 of a turn.... Just out of curiosity what fuel are...

look at teamtrinity.com on the home page right in the middle is the siro emblem you can click on that and see all the motors..

prices are about 170-190

Well depending on if it is a slide or rotary....

slide carb -
High speed needle - 2 1/2 turns out from closed
Low speed needle - 1/2 turn out from "flush"

rotary carb -

If you plan on racing .12 is legal..anything bigger is not... and depending on your club/racetrack, some 5 port turbo motors aren't legal either..... I would also say look into the Siro EVO ...

I try to keep the Siro in my NTC3 in the 240-260 range..... and it seems to run fine... As far as getting it to fire... I would reset all the carb settings back to factory and start from there....

While the OS might be just a touch down on power you definately gain in dependability and longer life.... And with a good driver, I know of many OS TR's that can spank a JP/Mugen/Rossi/rex/RB .... ...

From all the tests, the TRX 2.5 is a bad ****... I would just about bet money that it is higher power just due to the fact that the 2.5 is a rear exhaust motor with composite carb... Traxxas really...

Yeah the TZ would be good, but I thought it came with that case that accepts the EZ start only.... Plus it might be a torquer motor more likely for a truck and not turn the high RPMS needed for a...
