I used Super Coverite for the control surfaces. It went on OK but it is heavier than I would have preferred. If I do it again I will use something lighter, maybe Stits Light or Nelson...

I suggest you try Nelson Hobbies water based polyurethane paint. I used it on my TF P-40 and it came out great. It can be sprayed easily and it cleans up with water. Jerry Nelson can mix any FS...

Did they happen to mention whether the CG whould be checked with the retracts or down? The instructions say down, which is counter to normal procedure in most planes.
