The stock ignition that came with the engine. I searched through the thread and found that 28-29 is good for it.

figured it out, turns out the sensor was bad. swapped it with a new one.

Thanks man. Tried that the other day. No spark at all. Didn't know if that was a good diagnosis, I've been told that on these engines, you can't see the spark. I found that hard to believe.

Still havent heard anything back from Tim. Chumly was nice enough to send me his parts from his bad engine. Hopefully I can use parts from his engine to put mine together.

It's a real shame...

Time for a new engine

Hi everyone,

I built a battle axe a year or so ago, and flew it quite a bit. I'm at high altitude, so with the OS .15la, i was pretty much full throttle constantly, just trying to keep it going...
