I HAVE A SET OF DOC KIETH VINDICATOR PLANS FROM MODEL AIRPLANE NEWS. I HAVE LOCATED A COWL & TAIL CONE BUT NEED A SUPPLIER FOR THE CANOPY. ANY SUGGESTIONS ?? THANKS.

The carbs are always marked with "H' and "L" at the needles. Usually the "outside" needle is the "H" or high speed needle. Start at 1 1/4 turns out and adjust in SMALL increments ... 1/8 turns !!!

I too have had similar problems with a Q35. It was very similar to what you describe. Didn't do it all the time. When it did, it would usually start right up. Flew great, lots of power. Rebuilt...
