i and a few other folks at the field have these mig drones and have found that the best way to paint them is either use kilz primer and then spray paint only problem is the paint will get gooy after...

i think i remember hearing about wrapping the mufflers to get more smoke and was wondering if anyone else had. i have a H9 edge 540 with DA 100 and sullivan smoke pump.
most of the time i cant get...

has anyone thought about wrapping the mufflers with fiberglass cloth to get them to get hotter. may make more smoke.

i was looking at the saito 180 ($20.00 higher than B46gt) and someone posted 11 minute flights on 20 OZ tank. i already have saito 100, and 125, and i can go through 1 gallon in a weekend. imagine...

i have one in a funtana .90 the stock carb isnt worth crap. i got a Jett carb for it and it really came alive!! same problem with either carb, level flight blurbering rich after 5 or so seconds prop...

i have a H-9 p51 pts arf with OS 55AX, APC 10 x 7. 128MPH in a nose down dive, 109MPH in straight level flight measured by stalker pro radar gun.

i think everyone here has decided that 5 1/2" from the leading edge at the fuse is the best place to start. hope you enjoy yours as much as i do mine!

i used a regular style heat iron to put mine on. just cut a strip about 1" in width and as long as the hinge line. fold it in half so that the backing of the ultra cote is on the outside of the fold....

i have been flying my Yak with a Saito 100 because my 125 was in for repairs. after getting the 125 back on i may go back to the 100 because it flys so much better with the lighter weight 100.

i would have to say that pretty much all 3D and sport ARFS' nowadays have that problem. some have it worse than others, any of the Funtanas, showtime, etc.. I'm not picking on H9, as a matter of fact...

one problem that i had was with the stabilizer wires were so flimsy. i replaced mine with some carbon fiber ones and could really tell a difference in flight.

I've looked at the KMP Pitts 12, GP ultimate, GP sky bolt, seagull ultimate. CG ultimate, GP giant aeromaster.etc..

heres a pic of mine. i had a razzle 3d so i knew how hard it could be to see a transparent covered plane. i recovered before i tried to put it together. the underside is completely transparent blue...
