RE: Your "setup" is critical to success

Thanx for the info, Dean. It helps a lot. Now, I have an idea of what to expect when going thru those steps, and will not be so hard on myself. The throw meter was one of the first things I got...

RE: Your "setup" is critical to success

The PDF from Peter G. is great. I read it many times, but here's my question. I'll be flying a Mini Edge 540, which is a parkflyer, and I want to fly precision aerobatics with it. Just having fun...

RE: e-flite mini edge 540

Here's my ME540. Weight less batt pack, prop and spinner is 16.3oz. That leaves me 5.7oz to 22oz - my target weight.:D I decided to use a TP2000PL. Also, I won't be using the S75 servos. It...

I got this plane a month ago. It's my first balsa plane and I didn't like the stock scheme that much. Decided to recover it; a first for me, too. Some guys also said I could save some weight,...

RE: Motor cutting out in flight

Nah, I don't think that's what's going on. Well, my ESC is toast. Burnt last nite while I was practicing hovering. GP should recommend something that can handle the flatout's stock 370 motor and...

Motor cutting out in flight

I bought a floatout CAP580 a couple of weeks ago as my first r/c plane. I got a combo from Tower and it came with a GP C-10 ESC (10amp). I'm using the stock motor (370 size) and a 3S 640mah 15C...
