RE: I need a starter pattern plane

I started out with a World Models Tai Ji 40. It was a quality airplane, stuck in a YS 63fz. Although I'll tell you, IMO, a 40 size plane can get too small once you try to actually use a lot more...

RE: Purchasing a Belt CP....Have questions

I got my belt cp from Helidirect.com, average prices, but they ship fast. Wherever you order from, just let the people know that you want the helicopters on separate frequencies and there shouldn't...

RE: ........."BELT-CP THREAD"........

I'm running a Futaba S3154 for the tail servo, and running stock everywhere else. They seem to work fine once the helicopter gets nice and trimmed out.

RE: ........."BELT-CP THREAD"........

Has anyone had any problems with the power cutting out after changing out their gyro or to better servos? Reason I ask is because right now I've got the stock esc and brushless motor, and just...

RE: Pacific Northwest Classic Pattern Flyers Around ?

I might be interested in a little get together. I really suck at pattern right now (can't even get through half of intermediate), but it'd be nice to see what other people have. It'd take a little...

RE: How to make my HPI rs4 3 faster?

If it was me, i'd just do a .21 conversion, .21 exhaust system, custom gears, and some wide foam tires

RE: My project car

Just curious, how did you do your gearing? Did you use the stock drivetrain gears and do custom primary? Or did you go custom on both the primary and drivetrain gears?

Only custom part i'll...

RE: HPI Super Nitro RS4 car...what would you pay???

If it was me, i'd wanna know what kind of gearing he has before i'd believe a 75mph claim. Then i'd wanna know what kind of engine he's running along. Chances are he's bull****ting you.

HPI...

RE: My project car

Well .21 onroads are known to turn 40k under load on a straightaway...but 50k is stretching it.

RE: My project car

Yep, the engine isn't right for it's application, but then again I don't have $500 to spend on an engine. I actually specifically wanted an engine larger than a .21 just because they're cheap,...

RE: fwd or rwd nitros?

It's not the power that's the problem, it's the gearing. They're just geared too low for anything BUT 4wd. If you convert the car to fwd or rwd, you'll just spin the tires like crazy and not go...

RE: My project car

Since the car is out of commission cuz of the broken screw for the front differential, probably next week i'll order a pair of stage-d solid axle conversion kits along with a 32T pulley. Been...

RE: My project car

Actually, super nitro wheels will fit, and i'm sure buggy street tires would fit also, just neeed to modify the front bumper to accomodate.

Anyhoo, small update:

The car is officially out...

RE: My project car

I could, but there would be too much back pressure and the engine would run at it's best.

RE: My project car

Yeah, I don't care much for it either. I'll eventually get a 1/8 scale onroad header and have it in the more traditional location. Right now it's kinda a pain in the ass cuz I can't use a body and...

RE: My project car

RE: My project car

Trust me, the weight distribution isn't nearly as bad as you would think. It'll spin the tires pretty good, but it'll go straight.
