Nope not the same, the great planes version is smaller. I have one of those as well. If you have the instructions for the kyosho would it be possible to scan and send to me?

This is strickly my opinion, do not base your nitro experience soley on a traxxas engine. I have had a nitro sport, a 4-tecs, a Jato, and a T-maxx 3.3, and had nothing but issues with those engines....
