RE: Driving on Water

Wily, I agree with you. Those are the paddles that I have for my Tmaxx. They work awesome in sand... but haven't tried water yet. I have a few months to work up the courage to try it out when the...

RE: Driving on Water

I'm not saying an RC truck would float on its tires... the theory is that going fast enough with paddles would keep the truck on the surface of the water until it reached shore again.

RE: Best pipe for the T-maxx

RE: 3.3 T-MAX Video.

Nice video. There's nothing I like more with my TMaxx than to go to the sand dunes and climb hills... the steeper the better!

RE: nylon vs aluminum

There are definately pros and cons about both. I would say that nylon is more likely to snap... but I know people that have had aluminum a-arms and stuff and when they hit stuff it bends... then its...

RE: question

Sounds to me like something is wrong in the rear diff. If you spin one of your rear wheels quickly, then either the drive shaft or the other wheel should also spin like that. If not, then something...

RE: Brake not releasing

I tried to lube my brake cylinder, but it didn't really help too much. Is there a spring or something inside the tranny case that pulls the brake cylinder back in to release the brake? Maybe I just...

Brake not releasing

Well... recently my TMaxx brakes have started sticking. When I apply the brake, it works fine, but it won't release. The cylinder the comes out of the transmission housing gets stuck out... unless...

RE: ez start problems again.

I heard that the newer ez start systems had some sort of protection from hydrolock. Maybe because the pinch at top dead center is so tight, it things that the engine is hydro locked so it won't turn...

Good point greasemonkey. I have a TMaxx and I modified it to fit and old ford bronco body that I had. (it was the SUV 1990 ford body). Then I realized I could get to the glowplug or pullstart...

RE: On the beach!

Just make sure the truck is clean BEFORE you go to the beach with it. This will make it much much easier to clean after. Otherwise, oily residues will hold the sand on the entire truck. Also, make...

RE: Kliff, have you heard of this?

So the Super GT pipe would be good for my TMaxx with the OS.18TM in it? I've been wanting to upgrade from the stock pipe. This would be a good option? I"m just glad my stock pipe hasn't melted...

Very cool paint job! I don't have quite those airbrushing skills... but here's the body I recently painted just using rattle cans and an exacto knife to cut out custom flame masks and a bronco horse...

RE: T-Maxx Conversion from .15 to 2.5

Chefboyrd,
I changed my TMaxx from the Pro.15 to the OS.18TM (which is a direct fit for the 2.5). It was a very easy swap. Have you got the conversion kit already? If not, it does come with a...

RE: OS.18TM eats diffs!

Timmahh, how will stronger cups prevent the gears from stripping out? Do the plastic ones flex and let the mesh become loose in there or something? I guess I'll have to look into it either way,...

RE: **Racer's Edge .32 Revo Build-Up** **Pics!**

Nice looking truck lax! My bashing buddy bought a Tmaxx 3.3 and put the Surefire engine in it (along with an extended chassis and a TON of other upgrades). He still uses the stock transmission......

RE: Full speed jumps...

Inkfreak... you reminded me of another broken part from that jump. I broke my body too. LoL Only because on landing when I hit the gas on my OS.18TM I do a wheelie and the body drags on the ground....
