RE: Can I use this grease in the diffs?

I use bearing grease also. A, it's cheap. B, that tube will last forever.

RE: 23mm hex wheel question

I found some Pro-lines that are 81mm in diameter, but the stock GT5 rim is 83mm. Will that make a differance with stock tire?

RE: Ranger body...

I've seen one on the Parma PSE site. It's an older splash but still a Ranger.

RE: Clutch bell question

Make sure the brass bushing is in good shape. If it's wore out, replace it. If it's not, be sure the end screw is tight. Then if that doesn't fix it, add another washer. Just be sure it's not a...

RE: You know your a Savage freak when.....

You haven't bought new clothes since you bought the Savage, and those super white Adidas shell toes look more like combat boots now since you haven't bought shoes either.

RE: hump pack help please

The plug on the left goes to the rx. The one on the right is the charge jack. The thing in the middle is an adapter for different chargers.

RE: Does HPI Have a Nitro Fuel Recommendation?

They say use 20% HPI Power Fuel, but any car fuel works. I use the 33% Top Fuel and couldn't be happier. Your 20% Top Fuel is just fine for the ol Sav.

RE: my savage shakes alot

Be sure not to over tighten the wheel nut as you might round out the wheel hex with the hex hub. That'll cause a mighty mean wheel wobble!

RE: do nitro cars need alot of maintenance??

Yes they do! In the case of a nitro car, you're not buying a Nissan Skyline, or an Enzo Ferrari. It's the chassis that matters. If I have a 1 speed 15fe RS4 3 with Lamborghini body on it doesn't...

RE: anyone tested there 25 le's top speed

With a 52t/14t combo I GPS'd my S-25 with a three speed at 29.1mph. Today with a 47t/20t combo I GPS'd the same truck at 37.3mph.

RE: will this work??

As long as your current servo and batt. connectors are Futaba type then it'll work just fine.

RE: True MONSTER TRUCK fans, looook here please!!!

The hood does say "BUILT FORD TOUGH". It's the logo in the F-350 commercials. You know the rivited metal plate with the blue oval in the middle.

RE: good or bad

Stat's don't really mean much. Some motors (though smaller) will out power much bigger powerplants. We'll just have to wait and see how this little gem performs.

RE: CB Rubbing Spur?

It's not on all the way. Make sure the inner bearing is seated in the CB.

RE: 1and half hours on 1 tank of gas wih revo??

What if both the LSN and HSN were set to the point of being so lean that the motor was just barely able to run. Then the idle was set so low (to just the point of keeping that motor running). Also...

RE: Lockers?

I packed the rear diff with heavy duty bearing grease. For the most part it's locked, but like Dale said, if it has to spin the wheels at different speeds it still can.

RE: Changing nitro %

30% won't hurt it. Besides you can go up in nitro percentage but not down.

RE: metel spur

I've had my metal since DEC. 2003 with no problems. They may cost a few greenbacks but knowing stripped gears are a thing of the past make them a wise investment.
