here is an Idea, sell both engines and the airplane. then use the money to by a GT80 and fly in the GT class. You will have a much better experiance and will have something you can grow into...

Did the original have a wing tube? That has been tried in the past with some really bad luck. Im no expert, but this aint an IMAC plane going 75 MPH.

Dave, I fly my vipers at 3 1/8. This has been very succesful in our Q25 racing. I do run about 50% expo too.

We have not been timing our races. i have been after gene to time them, but he is standing his ground pretty good. with that, i have no idea what our heat times are. I have my turn figured at 2.5...

I will be in waco, so you are welcome to give it a try. It is kinda fun to see the true airspeed numbers. I have never really trusted the radar gun, there is to many factors that ca affect it.

I spent a couple of hour at the field today getting some air data out of my viper. I used my new eagle tree systems to get the data...

There are a ton of airframes out there that would go fast with a 50cc, but you will find out soon enough that the RPM's you will turn to go fast will also cause the airplane to shake like crazy.. but...
