Well it did not happen, the first flight i mean.
It was far to muddy and very cold, I was thinking the frost may be enough to harden the ground.
Will try again this weekend.

Well we have some frost here in England so if the ground is hard enough tomorrow it might be time for a maiden flight. Wish me luck !

All I can say is I saved 4 pound in weight overall, if i had not removed the lead my plane would of been 4 lb heavier.

She takes off a lot easier than the 2...

Thanks for your advice, i will try both your suggestions. The nose leg is fine, if i just tap the nacelle slightly the mains spring in to life and come down.

You need a long series 2.8 drill to drill the holes for the front retract assy

Do you recommend mounting the vertical stabilizers to the horizontal stabilizers with epoxy as well as the screws.

I could not move the cowl forward as i was right on the angle at the back of the cowl, i will have to pack the cowl out slightly to compromise.

For all those that put the engine at 127mm and had cut the cowl it is possibe to pack out the cowl to make it look half decent. if i had not fitted the throttle servos etc i would of moved the engine...

Some advice, I think the dimension from front of firewall to engine drive flange is incorrect. Trouble is you cannot really check it until you start cutting the cowl. My engines are now sticking out...
