One way Kevlar is used is in thicker laminations. thickness resists buckleing and is still lighter than glass of same stiffness.

Sorry , I havent seed the kevlar fuzzies actually, i just know synthectic fibers generally melt with the touch of a flame without having to accumulate enough heat to start full blown combustion....

Nice thing about Polyurethane, Ive found, is you can squeegee it all off, and with enough moisture and heat it foams enough to grab Skin if in contact. Do some test samples. Use weight of some kind...

I used to buy a hobby/craft glue that was Vinyl Acetate. The brand Im useing now is pukey pink. The other dried Clear/white.
