I'm having the exact same problem, have you resolved yours? Mine has past the breakin stage and it is leaned out. I've turned the screw counter clockwise and still nothing. Any help is appreciated....

From what I understand, as long as the voltage is the same(at least for the cx, 7.4volts) you're cool. The added weight is probably the biggest issue but I have a feeling it should work ok.
