Aluminum fatigues with every stress put into it, but bending it back wont hurt anything if you add some sort of brace to strengthen the tweaked area.

That is not aluminum oxide, as aluminum oxide is colourless. If that were oxide, when aluminum is anodized, you wouldnt beable to see the dye underneath, the anodized layer is a layer of aluminum...

The Mini LST's drivetrain sucks the big one, the diff gears are made of brittle plastic, the dogbones and cups are made of soft, non hardened or tempered steel, and there is waaaaay too much slop in...

You forgot durability. I would give it a 6 in durability. The entire truck is solid, except for the drivetrain. The dogbones are made of butter, the diff gears are brittle, and the center diff...

You must take the entire diff assembly apart. There are small steel pins and bearings inside that will rust if exposed to moisture, and then oxygen. Make sure you boil the pinion gear also.

Bring some water to a boil, and then pour it into another cup, and throw your gears in for about 20 minutes.

Boiling your gears actually does fix this problem. It adds moisture to the plastic, relieving internal stresses caused by the molding process, and also makes them more flexible...
