RE: My day with the parkzone P-51

Their could be two possible problems here. One could be your battery, and another could be your ESC. I think you should run some tests on the ground and monitor ESC temperature, battery temperature...

RE: My day with the parkzone P-51

You need to clarify, are you using a Lipo with it? Or a nimh? If your using a lipo, did you remember to remove the jumper on the ESC? And if its a nimh, with the stock Tamiya connector, there is a...

RE: Genius -EP

Ive had this model. Its a Fliton prodigy clone. I used a Park 480 with a 2200. Power was inspirational to say the least, but too much. Wing folded on it. Even with a spar reinforcement. Make sure to...

RE: Getting into 3D foamy

RE: Getting into 3D foamy

Your servos are way overkill. Im not too familiar with micro setups but the motor seems to have too high of KV and the servos should be around teh 3.6-5 gram mark.

RE: Mini Super Sportster EP

If its an outrunner your gonna have to make up a new motor box. The main concern I would have is the wing, pull out of as loop and it will fold, mine folded just cruising. Reinforce it somehow with...

RE: Super Cheap LiPo Batteries

I have to agree with everyone here. HC is the way to go. My first battery order from them has been the Rhino 10503S, and it undoubtably had more power than my Hyperion Litestorm 1200 20C. Just...

RE: Australian Barbeque and Beers Part V

I have a feeling if this battle between mods and posters keeps up this whole thread may cease to exist... Lets kindly ask the mods to be a little nicer?

RE: Australian Barbeque and Beers Part V

Hey guys, Im back from my maiden flight. I was at loss for words with this model. After a smooth takeoff it needed a couple of clicks of Up trim and it was flying perfectly straight. The model is...

RE: Australian Barbeque and Beers Part V

The record for Funjet is something like 165mph. We're talking near 2 kilowat power sytems though. Every model hits an aerodynamic wall where a crap load more power is needed to have it flying a...

RE: Australian Barbeque and Beers Part V

Good luck mate. A couple of tips for the larger model. 2 1.5mm rods (one top, other bottom directly opposite eachother) on the wing will make it stiffer than even two 3mm tubes embedded in the wing....
