My i206B will max out at around 250 watts with a 12 volt power supply. For your purposes, your total watts required would be right around 250 if you wanted to charge at the rate you stated. So you...

RE: repairing damage to monocote

My general rule of thumb is that if its over an open area, patch on top of existing covering. If its over a sheeted section, cut away damage covering and apply new covering to exposed wood. Patching...

RE: *** Ultra Sport Brotherhood ***

Hello fellow brethren,

Has anyone here encountered an issue with the US 40 firewall when assembling the kit? I'm at the step where the instructions tell me to install the engine mount and put F1...

RE: The 2.4 Attitude - Does your field have it?

Never an issue with 2.4 Ghz at our club. I'm one of the few that still flies on 72 mhz and everyone still pins their badge to the frequency board. We just created a new spot on the board for 2.4 Ghz...

RE: engine runs backward during breaking in

No, you won't hurt the engine and this is fairly common with aircraft engines. If you advance the throttle slowly, it will either die or slow down and kick over in the right direction. I believe an...

RE: *** Ultra Sport Brotherhood ***

Had to think about that one for a bit, but I think I may have been giving the center wing ribs too much credit for holding stuff together. It is the main spars and joiners that bear the burden....

RE: *** Ultra Sport Brotherhood ***

MinnFlyer,

I've seen the pics of your retract, aileron and flap servos mounted in the center of the US60 wing. It looks like a lot of the center section was cut out to install all the servos....

RE: Lt-40 as taildragger

You could make the tail wheel pivot freely. It would probably not cause that many steering issues since the LT-40 has a fairly good sized rudder. If anything, try that first and if you like the way...

RE: Lt-40 as taildragger

When I converted my LT-40 to a taildragger, I basically mounted a dubro plastic bracket with its hole directly in-line with the rudder hinge line. then I drilled a hole vertically through the fuse...

RE: thunder tiger pros, help

I've found that with my TT Pro 46 engines, the needle valve housing has a tendency to loosen up and create an air leak. Double check that yours is tightly screwed in (don't strip it, just verify)....

RE: MAGNUM PRO 46 PROBLEMS

From reading the original post, it sounds as if CHESTER was filling the tank through the vent tube. This would explain why he saw fuel coming out of the carb. To avoid flooding the engine in the...

RE: Modded Honey bee King II spins in circles like crazy!!! Help!

You're using the stock rate gyro and it probably isn't set up correctly. Your gyro, as per your test, appears to be working in the right direction. What needs to be done, however, is the adjustment...
