There is a large thread in Fly_ing Gi_ants about this plane. One of the owners is using the EVO also. All of them are coming out nose heavy so you may want to check this thread.

RE: 38% Christen Eagle I

I built 2 Frank Noll kits. The kits came with foam wings and there were no problems with them. Frank offered a stick built version of the wings that saved about 3/4lb over the foam. The first one I...

RE: CA-260 baby!

I was looking at the pic of the wing and only see 1 set of control horns. Do you have to install the others if you are using more servos?
I didn't see any slots in the wing for the other servos arm...

RE: Foamtana

The plane has an AUW of 13.2oz. It is powered by a Himax 0215-4100 swinging a GWS 11x47 prop. A lot of glue weight will be saved on the next one when the fuse is keyed into the wing and horizontal...

RE: DA100 only starting on 1 cylinder

Jonathan,

My friend had the same problem with his DA 150. It would start on 1 cylinder but after a short time both cylinders would fire. It turned out to be the ignition module.

Here's a picture of the test stand my friend built. It is modeled after the one RCShowcase sells. We have test run everything from a Saito 180 to a DA 150 on it.

RE: Composite-Arf 2.6 servos????

I've built 3 of them, 2 with 8411's and matchboxes, 1 with 5945's. I think the 5945 servos are the way to go. You can program them and they have a better gear set than 8411's. I used the rudder servo...
