RE: FMA Electric Trainer ARF

I am interested in buying this trainer. However, in 10mph winds described, it didn't look as stable as some other trainers around for the same price. What would you say the maximum wind speed is, and...

RE: Parkzone Typhoon Problem

There may be a problem with EMF inteference. Therefore, I suggest adding a capacitor over the motor, and see if that helps. There could also be the possibility of a faulty ESC, but for now try adding...

RE: Eletric with Alerions????

Well I believe the RCU review of the parkzone typhoon suggested that it is a suitable 4 channel aeroplane for beginners (when using low rates), providing the person has had some experience with 3...

RE: You are not allowed to shoot them.

I find it ridiculous that Topgunner made the connection between owning a gun and being a wimp who would not help someone. I would say that in some cases a gun is simple a macho symbol that boosts a...

RE: You are not allowed to shoot them.

I am not afraid of guns, at least not in the hands of the "right" people. However, I cannot sympathise with anyone who would rather have the law to allow guns to be sold to almost anyone in...

RE: You are not allowed to shoot them.

I have been reading up on the supposed "reductions" in crime that have been reported. It is ludicrous to conclude that these reductions in crime (not just gun crime as has been said) have occurred...

RE: You are not allowed to shoot them.

I would like to see the specific reductions in crime - i.e. maybe theft has gone down but maybe the homicide rate has gone up. Without seeing the figures it is impossible to say whether the overall...

RE: You are not allowed to shoot them.

Switzerland cannot be related to the US as the laws concerning the usage of guns are completely different. Even so, the rate of gun deaths is only second to the USA; in the USA five people per...

RE: You are not allowed to shoot them.

All males that could theoretically fight in Switzerland are legally obliged to own an assault rifle and around 70 rounds of ammunition. However, unless the country is engaged in some conflict, then...

RE: You are not allowed to shoot them.

I'm not dictating that the USA should ban firearms, but the statistics show (without exception) that countries which permit firearms have much higher rates of homicide than those which ban them. It...

RE: You are not allowed to shoot them.

Switzerland has very strict gun laws compared to the USA, and though handguns are allowed to be registered to members of the public, I understand that all ammunition has to be bought at a shooting...

RE: You are not allowed to shoot them.

I may be a person who does not have experience with real firearms and with a society which permits them, but you do not have experience of a country which does not allow guns. Though I can understand...

RE: SkyFly vs Accipiter vs Ventura

I believe that this is exactly the same as the Aerobird, except that it is red and costs only $69.99:

RE: You are not allowed to shoot them.

Everyone seems to be assuming that most deaths from gun crime arise from criminals shooting innocent members of the public. Therefore, many are using this to justify the ownership of arms for the...

RE: You are not allowed to shoot them.

I'm just thankful that the man didn't feel tempted to get the child, or miss and somehow get him.

RE: TF P-47 VS. Bird

I just don't understand how birds can fail to notice the plane that is in their direction, especially since yours was a giant scale.

RE: Ever feel like you should just give up completely??

I'd suggest buying an "indestructible" plane - something like an aerobird, because they're very strong, and even if you do manage to break something, spare parts are very cheap.

RE: New Emaxx owner!

TBH all you need to make it noticably better are two (quality) 7-cell battery packs. I've never broken anything on my emaxx, but I hear that RPM parts are the ones to go for for durability.
