Im not using the stock transmitter. I have my normal throttle curves set at 0,40,75,85,90. Spools up nicely without using soft start and I dont use the governer either. I use my tx.

Yes I use RTl fasteners and I also have a CC ESC. Although I dont use the soft start feature. You just need to use throttle control.

I run a scorpion 8 with a 13t pinion for some great head speed. 100% throttle in idle up with carbon blades. I have to tone it down some with woodies. I have found that higher head speed helps...

Im running the Futaba 2.4 6exi Tx. And running a 9650 tail servo. Works really well. I like the Tx. I havent had any problems with it at all.
