RE: Extreme Flight 110

Hi,

I've had 4.5" and 4" wheels on it. The smaller 3.5"s don't seem to present any problems and I fly of grass fields including one that is unimproved, i.e. a mowed field with no rolling or other...

RE: Extreme Flight 110

If you are trying to find an initial CG, place the batteries in the fuse with the plane ready to fly minus fuel and see if it balances. If not, move them until it does.

Once you have a flight on...

RE: 35% Power Setup Questions

RE: Extreme Flight 110

Falcon,

And it gets even better.

The headers are the standard MTW flex headers from Desert.
They are 11.25" as I measure them and with a .5 gap in the coupler, are perfect for the DA100L and...

RE: Extreme Flight 110

Hi Falcon,

Just to be clear.

I have the MTW RE2's and the KS 1060. Iprefer the 1060's. I find them to sound better, lies "zingy" and have a smoother transition in the powerband.

RE: Extreme Flight 110

Falcon,

With the headers set properly, apart from the extra power, they feel like a muffler setup. No peakiness at all. No need for a throttle curve for torquerolls.

RE: Extreme Flight 110

Vinny,

My measurements where to the AMA standard.
Measured 9 feet off the right wing over short grass.
I would think it would easily be under 95db at 25ft.

RE: BME 116 how different than 115?

I think there are some changes to the front of the crankcase as well.

Here is a pic of the current 116. If you look at where the nose joins the crankcase, you can see its drilled out. On the...
