ya im thinking it might be the battery. its a Great Planes LiPo 11.1V 1500mAh 3S 8C... so should i be looking for something in or around the 20C range?? im new to this electric stuff

i used a futaba 9152 on the rudder, then i used 9252's on the elevators and airlerons, then just a hitec bluebird servo on the throttle.

ya that sounds like a good match. you might have to mount the servos in the tail which is very easy to do..

i have the goldberg 67" edge, mine came out at 7 1/4 pounds and 3D's all day long with the super tigre G90. its a little pricy but its way worth the money.

how well would a fuji 86cc engine pull an 18-20 pound plane for 3D? i cant decide if i want to give up some power and use the fuji. or suck it up and go ahead and spend 1200 bux on a BME 105cc......

i just maidened my edge today and boy was it great! its powered by a supertigre 90 that hasnt even had 3 tanks run through it and vertical was unlimited weighing in at 8 1/2 pounds. and on landings...

thanks guys, intsead of plugging one of the tubes i pinched both of them slightly. this created more back pressure and it ran alot smoother in the low end RPM's. i compared it to the stock muffler...

hey guys, a buddy of mine at the field today said that a pitts muffler robs power from the engine. if this is true, how so and is there any way to gain the power back? [>:]
