Thanks John,
The receiver is almost desinigrated. I want to use the crystal in another receiver. I don't think it would be worth it to send the crystal in for a check up. I'll try a running range...

I checked out that link, wow! You need a sealed fan and ductwork and all kinds of formulas for moving the air. Sounds like a real hassel. sean

I'm in toledo. Let's go in on our own field and make it racing only. We can find a strech of land between columbus and toledo. Just a thought. sean

RE: Looking for a good ARF speed plane.

I have the kangke f3d with a jett 40 stuffed in it. It's ripps! You can have this thing in the air in two days. The thundertiger pro 36 drops right in as it was my first motor for this. Don't waste...

RE: New Scat Cat.

Good point Daven. If your going to hang a 40 size engine on it,for instance a sport jett 40 which weighs in at 17oz. you'll need to take an inch off the front to balance it. The one I'm finishing now...

RE: New Scat Cat.

I used to fly them with an os .25 about 20 years ago and believe it or not they flew great with that engine. It makes a nice little sport plane with a mild engine. I now fly them with a quicky jett...

Sidewinder

What do you guys think of the sidewinder? There's one for sale here in the classifieds. It has the plug-in stabs and is almost ready to paint.

RE: THE BAGOWHIP RTF

Forgot to mention,Dub says not to run higher than 15% nitro in his engines. Any more will cause blown plugs and premature wear.

RE: THE BAGOWHIP RTF

You could also get a nelson head for the jett 50 and run a heavy duty nelson plug. I run the nelson on my quicky jett 40 with no problems. I also use an APC 8-3/4 by 8 pylon prop for massive thrust.

RE: Getting the Ball Rolling

Stand,
I can get a little more but I burn plugs. Dub says your running lean when you burn plugs so I've backed it off to 17,000. I'm running a pylon APC 8-3/4by 8 wich probably has more load than a...

RE: Getting the Ball Rolling

Thanks Randy,
Love my candace. I had to use a futaba 9202 for the ailerons. They're so stiff that they would stall out my 3002 wich is rated at 50 oz. of torque. So it's actualy taking 72 oz. of...

I dremeled out the mount and put in a jett 40. It turns 17,000 with a APC 8-3/4 by 8 pylon prop. Even more with the SS carb. I put the 600 mha batteries in the back behind the servo area to balance...
