i agree with whtbronco,

thats heavy for a .40 size 3D plane

the fliton edge540 freestyle is only 6-6.5 LBS with a .91 4 stroke in it
its much larger than a .40 isze plane

it will matter to some degree
for myself its half to 3/4 throttle when triming out
but its up to you
if you fly everything WOT then trim WOT
most areobatics are flown at half to 3/4 on a 3D...

id like to add that it might be a time consuming process of triming and balancing the plane out properly
but when you have a plane that is completely hands off inverted and upright, on up lines...

also i find that if i spend the time to trim my planes out for hands free upright and inverted flight
many of the issues with KE go away
i allways expect to have to input a little aleron in KE,...

what radio do you have?

you should be able to assign your mix to a switch so that you can turn it off and on
just like you do for low and high rates

i have found that i dont like using...

got the right wing finished

came in at 30grams uncovered
im much happier with the weight of this wing compaired to the preivous version
should keep me on track to be right around 6 oz empty...

im not sure about the weight of 1/32" balsa sheet, but wouldnt have put so much effort into cutting out every gram of foam that
i thought i could spare without compromising the structural...

i dont know anything about it
continious current?

burst currrent?

just make sure that your chosen batt can handle what the motor is going to ask of it

current ratings are very important with all lithium batteries

you must be very sure that your motor is not over amping your batterie
its not allways a good idea to take the motors given specs...

IMHO you cant really go wrong with thunder power
it all depends on what you are planing on doing with them
if they are going to go in a 3d plane then you will more than likley be pushing the...

yea im aware of the hot glue issue, i think that each sitck weighs 4 grams
the only place that i have used hot glue on this plane is with this wing
i hadnt intended on using it at all on this...

it can be done, i dont think that you can buy a snowmobile now a days that isnt EFI
also OS engines had 1.40 and 1.60 glow engines for a short time that were EFI, they were very expensive
