Don't know why I didn't think to do a forum search on saito + inverted. Found a thread from 2006 with many good comments. Concensus seems to be "no problem".

Any problem to mount engine inverted ? I inherited a Saito FA 50 and want to put it in a 40 size pattern ship which is configured for inverted mounting. An experienced flyer at our field advises...
