Per Mr. Hacker I installed the ESC's on top of the wing inside the fuse and extended the wires to the motor. I have a battery trays built in the fuse and I velcro and strap them down.

Perhaps if the hinge pin in the aluminum hinge was replaced with one made from nylon it might break first? McMaster has 2-56 nylon screws.

I have the best turbine out there, RTI2800. Runs like a champ, bullet and idiot proof. Service or questions are not a issue at all.

Given that there have been many mods since the first RAM 1000/750+ first came out. The early combustion chamber being thin walled and t-wheel not so great come to mind. Both of which are not cheap...
