ok step by step 2 x ailerons and 2 x flaps ...

1. Got to tht etc section of the radio.
2. Choose the 1st C mix.
3. Make the master = AI
4. Make the Slv = 7
5. Make A->7 = 100% for BOTH...

From everything you have said, youhave NOT proven it was a broken wire, nor have you returned the radio to Airtronics to find the root cause of your problems. For all you know it couldhave been a bad...

ALL of the radios have had problems with them in one way or another. but it is your choice where you spend your money :)

Mine has gone on an Airtronics SD10-G...no complaints abuot that radio at...

Check the wire to theruidder pot. Mine broke and possibly caused the loss of three models that I put down to dumb thumbs. Soldering the wire back on cured the problem, but I bought an SD10-G instead...

I have completed the mode change from 1 to 2 and i had no problems at all. Following the steps from the link, you will aslo need to rcalibrate your sticks after you have switched to mode 2 in the svc...

I am working on something similar right now for Real Flight...do a search on the web for cables for FMS and see if you can find the pinouts, then it is just a matter of joining the two of them...

The manual DOIES actually say that, and it wil lonly work with the FHSS3 Rx's. I know, I have it setup and none of the choices work on the 8 channel RX.

That is correct BUT it ONLY works with the SD10 Rx. It will NOT work witht he RDS*))) Rx! it is a feature of the 10 channel equipment.

Where in NC are you? if you can get over to the $RDRC field sometime you can take a look and feel of my SD10.

The only rx's so far with the abillity to use the model select is the sd10s own Rx....

I have both the RDS8000 and the SD10-G. Neither of them has any slop at all in either of the sticks. I have not, yet, installed the heavier springs in the SD10-G, but am looking to do that just to...

Try reversing the throttle....see if that resolves it, and make sure the trim is all the way down as well to be sure.

weird...mine slides out as easy as pie....try pulling the battery out and seeing if that makes things easier....ie pull the pack and it might free the cable some and make it easier in the socket

yup..the holes just gave the radio an unfinished look...now a chair and a real nice Tx case would be nice...a blue one to match the chair :) and a hat rather than a cap...and a jacket....and......

you can use teh tip and the shield, leave the central part disconnected. That should do it.

Airtronics did a great job..BUT it does not balance where *I* want it to...so what is the problem?? The holes look ugly and detract from an otherwise nice design...I have found a way to make it...

the holes irritated me and the balance with the extender is more comfortable to me.. East RC is my LHS (24 miles away!!) and they go...
