I have a couple of older SJ .46 motors that I bought a few years back to go into a Pica Duellist. Here are some comparison shots of the .60LX and the .46 as well as their respective mufflers...

Fiberglassing the center section with thin CA. This works great and adds little weight but be sure you do this where there is a breeze, this much CA will do more than clear the sinuses. Also a good...

Working on the aileron control horn blocks and bearings. I know there are better ways than torque rods but I'd like to keep everything inside and minimize drag...

Hey Buzz,

I didn't think of shimming up the center ribs with scrap balsa and then sanding but that's a good idea. I just went ahead and glued them up with less dihedral. Hopefully will make...

I can't sand that gap out, it's just too big. If you block up the tip just ~ 1/2" (instead of 1 1/8"), the fit of the root ribs is a lot better...
