The Stryker is a good planform for conversion to rocket power. Did you fly it with rocket power vertical flight only or did you air start the rocket in flight?

I would suggest locating the rocket motor as close to the pitch and yaw centerlines as possible. Right on centerline would be ideal. However if you have to offset it then point the rocket motor...

Looks like fun! Now that's test flying, once stability has been established at the current motor size bump it up to a Estes "D", or composite Aerotech "D" etc...

Great effort! Hang in there maybe start with smaller motor next time and build up to higher impulse gradually? Though adjusting CG each time might be frustating.

Looks like it wil really zoom out (should be quite a site)when the rocket air start motor kicks in. I suggest you start with a small motor size first to check for off-center line thrust effects on...

You need a Jomar switch (E-switch), there other brands not sure how they work as Jomar is the only ones I've ever used. Got four of them years ago, two went bad sent them in for repair working again....
