I tested a Venom 5000 7 cell vs an SMC 5200 2 cell lipo in my slash(mm 4600). The 7 cell topped out on the gps at 48km/h and the lipo at 49km/h. And the lipo is lighter so it would pull wheelies on...

I broke that part too and what I did is use part of one of my body-clips. (straight part) I later replaced it with an axle pin.

I broke mine with an 8 cell and Titan! I did a quick fix and replaced it with a piece of body clip. When I got my mm 4600 it actually sent the pin through the tranny case and nicked the motor!...

No 7 cell means 8.4 volt. Its 1.2 volts per cell so 6 cell is 7.2v, 7 cell 8.4v and 8 cell is 9.6v.

Druss those are 10mm led lights. I had to actually make the hole in the bumper slightly bigger for their housing. I think they are 1/2" in diameter. They light up real well!

Well I ran my stock slash today on pure ice with spikes and it toped out at 39.6 km/h(24.6mph) on my GPS.

I ran it on pure ice today and with my 8 cell Gp2000 it was a blast! Will post vids soon. Still waiting for the snow to have a harder crust so it can go everywhere.

I used 9/16" screws(for wood I think) in the back and 1/2" in the front. Works awsome on hardpack snow, not bad in soft except if you get jacked up. Will try to post vids of it. Thanks.

Water break in for elec motor?

I read a few mags that said to run the electric motor from your truck under water with the trim set to 1/4 of the way. This is suppose to help break in the motor faster. My question is what do you do...
