RE: choosing the right off road truck

ummm NO! a 7 cell pack (given the same mah) will NOT increase runtime at all, it will just increase the voltage to the motor, thereby making it faster. in a battery pack, all the cells have the same...

RE: who loves traxxas engines

the 2.5 in my rustler was amazing... I never had to tune it and it made good power for a .15. the 3.3 in my revo was pretty good until it blew a conrod at the one-gallon mark, at which point I...

RE: WHAT IN THE ****???

lol I like how he upgraded all the somewhat useless stuff (chassis, body posts, etc), but he still has the stock shocks, tires, and radio. what a waste...

RE: problem with 40 series rim and adapter

bump... all the play in the wheels can't be normal, but I can't figure out where it's coming from (I know it's from the adapters, I never had this problem before).

RE: Picco .26 Clutch

I don't know if the 2.5 and 3.3 use the same clutch setup, but I'm running everything off my 3.3 and it's working just fine, no problems to speak of (knock on wood).

RE: What is the best fuel for 3.3

yah I use monster horsepower 20%.. never had a problem with it. there are a few different blends though, I'd try to get the platinum blend.

RE: problem with 40 series rim and adapter

ok, well, I went at it with a hammer and finally got them in. you weren't kidding when you said it was snug 89ram! anyways, they're in and everything looks good, except that there's a ton of play...

RE: Suspension upgrade on my Revo, NICE!.

all I did was put 50wt in the front and back and that by itself made it handle much better than it did stock. I was going to put some stiffer springs on it as well but totally forgot to when I had...

RE: Optional High flow breather

those filters don't work... at all. you need a real foam element for rc cars, that k&n ripoff crap won't filter anything out.

RE: problem with 40 series rim and adapter

yes I'm positive. they're the proline 23mm adapters for the revo. I'll try again today, maybe take a hammer to them or something lol.

RE: problem with 40 series rim and adapter

89ram, those are the same tires/rims I got. I tried for like 10 minutes to get the rim onto the hex on the adapter (before it was mounted on my revo), it just wouldn't go onto it it seemed like. I'll...

problem with 40 series rim and adapter

I recently stripped out the stock rim and hex that comes with the revo, so I figured I'd upgrade to some 40 series. I bought the proline HD adapters and some proline 40 series dish rims. the problem...

RE: Should i get a revo3.3,savge x,savge x ss,or lst2?

between revo and x ss, the revo will have better handling and is faster, but the savage is more durable (revo is still pretty durable though, just not as much). the way I think of it, if you're just...

RE: t-maxx 3.3 or revo 3.3?

the revo is pretty much better than the tmaxx in everyway. it's faster, handles better, is more durable, etc. the revo is pretty much the tmaxx's replacement as it's better in pretty much every way....

RE: mini revo! yes, no?

a mini-revo would be tight... as long as it was electric. nitro mini's suck, they're slow (25-30mph tops), and they're a pita to tune. if it came with a brushless for ~$250, I'd totally sell my rc18...

I just bent a header (stock) again on my revo and was debating going to a side pipe config. the only problem is that all the side pipes I've seen on a revo were using either a pull-start or a...
