FHSS is 100mw output worldwide (apart from France!)
DSSS is 10mw output in Japan, 100mw in the USA, not sure about Europe.

I believe that Futaba's Fasst is a FHSS system, and Spectrum's DSM is...

I was performing the take-off, during which, at about the point of rotation, the model appeared to 'jump' slightly as though it had rolled over a stone on the runway...

Actually, that's not the case - you can match the flight mode trim change speed/delay to the channel/servo speed/delay very easily when using Futaba flight modes:-

"BTW I have been working on a new flexplate design to hopefully stop the top skin damage. More flight testing is needed, but I feel the double plate method is near bullet proof. Even for BVM factory...

I would just like to point out that a BVM jet case IS the way to transport your Model Jet. I have used them for at least five years now to go to and from Florida twice a year - with a Bandit and more...
