bad400-

Thanks for the imput. I see you are in Shelby...not too far from Port Huron at all! Is Larry's Performace RC worthwhile for helis?

Looking to buy good Beginner Heli

I would first like to state that I haven't the slightest idea about helis in terms of how to run them. I have had several rc boats, so I am familiar with rc stuff, just not helis. I want something...

RE: Which boat should I get?

I think your best bet would be the AC Model Boats Sport 45A. I had one with a clutch, stock g260, octura hardware, and a prather 275 prop that did 46-47 mph. This boat was a beast in rough water!...

RE: 56" Apache can it take TWINS

hosnoopy, because of the staggered engines it would actually make no difference because both props would be submerged and the left prop would be pushing the boat to the right so the props would...

RE: Super G Boats

Doubledog has pretty much hit the nail on the head. Get the water-cooled Zen G260. If for whatever reason you do decide to go with the air cooled engine, I would suggest also checking out Bonzi...

RE: Super G Boats

Doubledog is right, you should buy one. Nobody else in the market really compares when you factor in value. These boats are full of value and durable. The one point I will disagree with is in the...

RE: Super G Boats

I think most people will agree that the Super G enforcer boats are an excellent boat. The boat has good quality. I've never had one but I've seen them run and they are great boats. As for break in...

RE: 56" Apache can it take TWINS

Everything you have going so far looks great! The one thing I would change is to make to props rotate inward instead of outward. I think you'll gain speed and stability. Almost all fullscale race...

RE: Best options 1K and under.

Chris, the boat looks pretty good. I would recommend using Amsoil Saber over the Mobile 1 but its up to you. You should try and mock-up a windsheild to give it a finishing touch. Where did you buy...

RE: 56" Apache can it take TWINS

Check Bonzi Sports for props as I know they have boats RTR with counter rotating props.

RE: 56" Apache can it take TWINS

So you are going to have both props rotating to the left? The design looks sweet. I love the look.

RE: 56" Apache can it take TWINS

hosnoopy, more space between the drives definetly makes since if you want to swing a bigger prop. This is when it would be nice to have all kinds of money and figure out which prop works the best and...

RE: 56" Apache can it take TWINS

Justaddwata, why would you want them that far apart? Or are you refering to side by side engines? If you went with a staggered setup it seems like that would be too far apart? What's the disadvantage...

RE: 56" Apache can it take TWINS

martno1fan it may be easier but if side-by-side twins or staggered (offset) engines work anything like full size boats, you'll have a much more stable boat in the straight aways! Staggered will even...

RE: Case of the invisible log...

The prop is good to go (intact). No, I haven't moved anything yet. In fact my plan was to put it away until the new flex shaft comes in. The Rudder is attached to the strut by two pivot screws/pins,...

RE: Case of the invisible log...

No visible damage except for the one pivot pin/screw on the rudder. The rudder didn't even bent a bit! I am hoping I can get the shaft by the end of the week:eek:

Case of the invisible log...

I was cruising along at 40+ mph today when all the sudden my boat kinda caught air along with an odd thud. I let off the throttle and then proceeded thinking it hit a wave until I noticed my boat...

Thats the 3rd time in about 4 months I've seen that boat listed on ebay with the same exact pictures. I was going to bid on it the last time it was up for auction but I tried too late. I wonder if...

RE: Questions on my Enforcer-Powered Bonzi

I agree you should check all your cooling lines. If the water is coming in while its running it seems logical that you have a leak in a hose that needs to be replaced.
