The sponsons on my 45 Eagle SG are 2 7/8" wide with a 1 3/8" ride pad.

I'm not sure what you have going with your K&B that a 1440 won't fit ...they fit on all of my 3.5 K&B lowers

What hull are you running your os on. Speed secrets... boat setup, and driving technique. I have two tunnels set up as sport boats. A Woodstuff with a K&B SS and a Leecraft with an OS.

I run K&B's and OS's I like both. My SS will run right with the OS's My Macs will run circles around either of them:D
The OS foot is far superior to the K&B .

If you want a wood kit go with a whip the cowl will cost you extra, the radio box is a pos, and you need a custom built fuel tank.
If you want a glass hull, SS21. choice of front or rear radio...
