RE: Goldberg Tiger Club

Hi Red - are you using balsa for the fuselage? I ask because my Tiger kit used lite ply, and I didn't see any listed in your materials list.
If you used balsa, did you splice pieces in order to...

RE: Sig 1/4scale C/W Cub build

Looks good VJ! I will be painting my next plane as well - getting tired of Monokote. What type of spray gun are you using? HVLP?
I need to pick up something in the near future. Thanks again.

RE: sheeting vs covering?

I know what you mean about plastic coverings such as Monokote. After a while, the engine oil and exhaust get under the edges and then it's basically over. You can try gluing it back down, but it's...

RE: Best way to build a plane rack?

I use the self brackets with pipe isulation also. Works pretty well. The other thing I do is use a couple of #64 elastics to secure to the bracket. Just a little extra insurance.

RE: warped fuselage solution..

Hi Steve, I'm building the Tiger 2 kit and am running into a similar problem, although I don't think it's as severe. I like your idea of the jig and clamps to keep things straight. From the...

RE: No fancy battery cycler

If you have a pack that's getting old and you are concerned about it, no big deal. just replace it, they aren't that expensive these days.

What would be considered old?

One note is to check the CG carefully. It should balance on the main wing spar. The...
