Why nose gear?
You wont find an easier plane to learn tail-wheel handling on than the 4star.
If you can afford it go for the 4star60. Easier to see and a little more stable in the air.

About the kit in general

The misses:
1. The canopy issue!
2. Servo bays to small! (The one for the rud servo is a real pain to enlarge)
3. Anti rotation pin holes not factory drilled!

Zippi,

I to had the G2300 in mind at first. For "sport" flying = not to demanding aerobatic moves it will probably be just fine...IF you can manage to keep it light. I´m gonna use mine for IMAC...

6,6kg AUW sounds a little much though...with glow setup i mean...no Ign module and no ign. batt.

Yes i agree in that 18-11 is probably a bit much for the MVVS 160 Gas, even thogh its a carbon prop.
I´m thinking that this may be the reason why this combo is a bit short on power in...

I´m very interested in hearing about performance. I have one of these Extras myself waiting to be ready in apr-may 2005.
It´s not easy to find a suitable engine for this size of model....
